Album of the Month – The Avett Brothers

We have named I and Love and You from The Avett Brothers our October Album of the Month!  Make sure you listen in to WERS on Friday, October 16th, as we’ll spend all day highlighting tracks from the album.  We’ll also be giving copies of it away!  Until then, enjoy their official music video for I and Love and You and if you’d like to watch their performance of this song on Letterman, click here!

The Avett Brothers – I and Love and You

Today, September 29th, 2009, The Avett Brothers (Rolling Stone‘s “Artist to Watch” in 2009) released their long awaited album, I and Love and You.  Or at least long awaited for me as I am a huge newfound fan.  In conjunction with the release, they performed  their first single from the album, the beautiful ballad, “I and Love and You” on Letterman last night! You can watch that video below just in case you missed the performance live.

To keep the excitement rolling, WERS will be Welcoming the Avett Brothers to the House of Blues in Boston on October 28th.  Can’t wait!  Until then, enjoy the video below.
