Throwback Thursday! The Monterery Pop Festival!

Today’s Throwback Thursday celebrates the 44th anniversary of The Monterey Pop Festival. The three day concert event took place from June 16th-18th, 1987 and featured acts such as Jefferson Airplane, The Who, Janis Joplin, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and many more. Video’s from the festival seem to the best alternative for those of us who didn’t get to experience this epic show firsthand.
