After months of waiting, we FINALLY have a video for Devendra Banhart’s single from last year’s album What Will We Be. Banhart rocks his best attempt at Zappa facial hair and takes us on an other worldly journey with some very special guests. MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden, The Strokes’ Fabrizio Moretti and The GZA all appear on Banhart’s journey through the depths of space, partying it up with some eccentric animated characters along the way. November Album of the Month!
After listening to dozens of CDs so far this month, we’ve decided to give Devendra Banhart‘s newest release, What Will We Be, the honor of being our November Album of the Month! New Music: Devendra Banhart
On October 27th, the Houston, TX-born Devendra Banhart will be releasing his brand new album, What Will Be. This album will mark his major label debut, as it’s set to be released on Warner Bros. Records, and we cannot wait for it to come out! We’ve gotten a sneak preview of some songs, and rest assured, this new album will definitely not disappoint the Devendra lover…and it’ll probably garner some new ones!.
