Mumford and Edward’s Railroad Tour

Posted in Daytime by wersmusic on March 14, 2011

This April, Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros and Old Crow Medicine Show will be co-headlining a tour in which they will travel exclusively in vintage railcars. This tour, aptly titled the Railroad Revival Tour, will have the bands playing six shows across the American Southwest (from Oakland, California to New Orleans) from April 21 to April 27. The Railroad Revival train is 1,500 feet long and consists of 15 vintage railroad cars from the 50′s and 60′s, pulled by two locomotives. The bands will all eat, sleep, and record music on the train while filming a documentary based on the tour.-Bond
