Upcoming Album/Film from Noah and the Whale
Charlie Fink, frontman for UK-based indie outfit Noah and the Whale, apologized to his crowd at the Paradise Rock Club this past April. He was still hoarse from directing the film to accompany the band’s next and upcoming album, The First Days of Spring, and would try his best to make it through the show. Four months later and the footage is back.
If the trailer gives any indication of what to expect, I imagine we’re in store for a beautiful but heartbreaking soundtrack with serene pictures that will follow an aesthetic idea more than a concise narrative. A music video of epic length. And in this case, that seems to be a good thing.
